Text message terms

The program
Basin Powered Dispatch sends job texts for the trucking and field-service companies that use it. Drivers get job offers, reminders to leave for booked jobs, "almost back to the yard" reminders, job changes and cancellations, and paperwork expiration reminders. Customers who order by phone or text get replies about their order, like a request for a dropped pin. Texts come from the dispatch company you work with or order from, sent through Basin Powered Dispatch.
How you sign up
Drivers sign up for job texts in one of three ways:
- Checking the text-message box when they set up their Basin Powered Dispatch login.
- Turning on job texts in the app settings.
- Telling their dispatcher, who records it.
You'll get one text confirming you're signed up. You don't have to agree to texts to work with any company: you can use the app and its notifications instead.
What the sign-up looks like
This is the screen a driver sees when they set up their login. The text box starts unchecked, and the driver can create a login without checking it.

How often
Message frequency varies with how much work there is. You might get none on a quiet day and several on a busy one.
Cost
Basin Powered Dispatch doesn't charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
Opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts. You'll get one final text confirming it.
- Reply START to sign back up.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@basinpowereddispatch.com.
Other things to know
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts go to the number on file, so tell your dispatcher if your number changes. See our privacy policy for how we handle your information. We never sell or share your mobile number or your consent for marketing.
